Flingster ("we", "our", or "the app") is a meal planner and grocery list generator designed to work entirely offline. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information when you use Flingster. Because we do not collect or transmit personal data, this is a straightforward document.
Flingster does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
All app data — including recipes, meal plans, pantry inventory, grocery lists, and preferences — is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. This data is never uploaded, shared, or accessible by us or any third party. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling Flingster.
Flingster does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that transmit data externally. The app does not display advertisements.
Flingster may request permission to send local notifications (for example, meal reminders). These notifications are generated entirely on your device. Notification preferences and schedules are stored locally and not shared with us.
Flingster is suitable for users of all ages. Because we collect no personal information, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR Article 8).
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the policy within the app. Continued use of Flingster after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
